Location Description
NEND The optical receive power level is above the
threshold on one of the following ports:
■ For BDL1-3R11:
• E-SC-E1
• F-SC-E1
• LCN1...4
■ For BDL1-3B11: LCN1...4
Suggested Corrective Action
1. Verify that the appropriate transmitter is installed at
the far end.
2. Verify that the transmit output level is within
specifications at the far end.
3. Replace the transmitter at the far end if the level is too
low.
4. Clean the fiber connections in the path.
Location Description
NEND The optical receive power level is above the
threshold on one of the following ports:
■ For BDL1-3R11:
• E-SC-E1
• F-SC-E1
• LCN1...4
■ For BDL1-3B11: LCN1...4
Suggested Corrective Action
1. Verify that the transmitter output level is within
specifications.
2. Replace the blade if necessary.
