Adjusting satellite elevation
You can prohibit the 961/962 from tracking satellites that are close to the
horizon and aren't providing high accuracy. Tracking low satellites during
GPS calculations is primarily for technical applications in which the 961/
962 must track all visible satellites regardless of how low they're situated.
When high-precision fixes are necessary, however, the advanced user can
change this option to hide any low satellites. This prevents the use of low
satellites as sources of GPS position information, and therefore avoids
potential errors.
You can adjust this option to 0°, 5°, 8°, 10°, or 15°, although Northstar
recommends you leave this option at the factory setting of 10°.
