Adding "honk" to table
On page 114 of the 941 Reference Manual, in Table 2, "Interface
Connector Pins," add "honk" in the description field for "200
PPNM OUT" at the bottom of the table.
Using the stop key
In the 941 Reference Manual, the function of the STOP key isn't
explained on page 65 under the heading "Changing your trip."
This menu key is displayed on the NAV LOG screen after
pressing the NAV LOG key. Upon pressing the STOP key, the
system stops navigating, and distances to waypoints, bearing to
waypoints, and ETA or ETE are no longer displayed. For the 941
to copy waypoints into its nav log and display their navigation
information (re-enabling the nav log function), you must go to a
newly designated waypoint(s).
Outputting waypoints displayed as numbers
If you're changing the display of output waypoints from names
to numbers as described in the 941 Reference Manual, "NMEA
0183 waypoint ID as" on page 122, be aware that there isn't any
standard for identifying how numbers should be assigned when
converting waypoints from names to numbers. When you export
waypoint information as numbers to a peripheral device, be
aware that numbers aren't sequentially defined and may be re-
used on a random basis.
Recommended distances between antennas
To avoid mutual interferences among different antennas on the
vessel, refer to the recommended separation distances illustrated

distances for the separation of the GPS antenna from other
antennas and physical mounting surfaces. Under normal
circumstances, following these guidelines usually results in a
relatively trouble-free installation; however, the installer may
want to adjust these distances, depending on the particular
equipment and how it's configured. Because each installation is
unique—according to the wishes of the customer—this
