8 PARAMETERS

8.1 Parameter Setting (Menu Page)

Parameter setting is performed by the GDM Menu pages, as shown Figure 8-1.
The Menu Page is organized into menus and sub menus which contain the parameters. Each parameter is indexed
by three characters to the left of the name.
The current position in the menu is displayed in the Navigation Panel.
8.1.1

Menu Navigation

Pressing on any menu folder in the navigation panel or menu page will navigate to that position in the menu and
update the navigation panel to show the new position.
Parameters that are read only are shown in grey. Parameters that are adjustable are shown in blue. Pressing on
an adjustable parameter will present the 'edit menu' screen. For numeric values this will show a keypad and for
non-numeric values this will show the options for that item. Press 'Apply' to accept the adjustment, or 'Cancel' to
revert to the previously stored value. The GDM remembers the previous menu page and returns there when the
user next accesses the menu.

Parameter Access Control

There are 2 menu levels on the PCS100 AVC-20.
Menus are security protected by a password to stop unauthorized access.

Operator Menu

Parameters in the Operator menu are suitable for adjustment by the operator. It is made accessible by entering
operator password to parameter 00 Password.
When the Operator menu is accessible "Operator Access" is displayed in the right side of the navigation panel.
