(which holds the active copy of the operating system) and mirror hard disk
drive. The mirror hard disk drive contains a copy of all of the files on the
source hard disk drive, and if the source hard disk drive fails, the mirror hard
disk drive immediately takes over. The IP1200 Series continues to operate
normally.
You can use Nokia Network Voyager, the command-line interface (CLI), or
Lynx to create and delete mirror sets.
Note
If your IP1200 Series contains two hard disk drives when you receive it,
the disk-mirroring feature is already enabled.

Hard Disk Drive Hot Swap Feature

A hot swap button is located on the front panel of each hard disk drive.
Pressing the hot swap button allows you to hot swap hard disk drives if you
have configured and enabled disk mirroring.
Caution
Hard disk drives are susceptible to damage from shock. Handle
them with care.
Caution
To protect the IP1200 Series and the memory modules from
electrostatic discharge damage, make sure you are properly
grounded before you touch these components. Use a grounding
wrist strap and follow the instructions provided with the wrist strap
before you handle the components or open the appliance. If you do
