1 Basic Construction

1.1 External Covers

[1] Upper cover
[2] Original tray
[3] Body cover
[4] Body front cover
Remove the covers as follows when
cleaning, inspecting, or repairing the inside
of the machine.

1.1.1 Detaching the DADF

1) Turn of the host copier.
2) Disconnect the machine's communica-
tion cable from the host copier.
3) Fully open the machine.
