4.3 Functions of the DIP Switch

The DIP switch (DSW1) on the DADF controller PC have the following functions:

Setting all bits to OFF selects normal
operation mode.

Each press on the push switch (SW3) of the
DADF controller PCB repeats pickup/
delivery operation.

Each press on the push switch on the DADF
controller PCB repeats pickup/reversal/
delivery operation.

In response to a press on the push switch
(SW3) on the DADF controller PCB, an
original will be picked up and placed on the

copyboard glass.
Thereafter, the stop position may be adjusted
by pressing the push switch (SW1, SW2).
Lastly, a press on the push switch (SW3) will
store the new setting.
In response to each press on the push switch
(SW3) of the DADF controller PCB after
placing three or more sheets of copy paper
8
on the original tray, pickup and delivery
operations will be repeated.
Each press on the push switch (SW3) of the
DADF controller PCB causes the original
tray paper sensor and the registration sensor
8
to be in level check mode.
