2.9 Detecting a Jam

The microprocessor on the DADF controller PCB is programmed in advance to check for
a jam at such times as needed, and a jam is identified in reference to the presence of an
original over a specific sensor.
T02-209-01 shows the conditions used to identify a jam.
When a jam is identified, the machine communicates its nature to its host copier, which in
response shows a corresponding code in its service mode.
