2 Basic Operations

2.1 Outline

The machine uses four motors and one clutch to pick up, feed, and deliver originals.
The pickup motor (M1) is used for picking up originals, while the feed motor (M2) is
used for delivering and reversing originals. The belt motor (M3) moves originals to the
copyboard and position them, while the delivery motor (M3) delivers originals to the deliv-
ery tray.
The clutch (CL) is designed to engage or disengage the drive from the feed motor (M2) or
the belt motor (M3).
