9. TROUBLESHOOTING

9.1.2 Problems that occur after OS startup

The following is a list of problems that occur after the desktop appears (after the OS starts up).
(1) The alarm lamp is lit and the digital LEDs for status indications show alphanumeric characters. Alternatively,
only the digital LEDs for status indications show alphanumeric characters.
(2) The processing speed of the equipment is slow.
(3) The equipment is unresponsive.
(4) The equipment automatically goes into standby mode or restarts.
(5) The screen flickers, nothing is displayed, or the display is incorrect.
(6) In the screen resolution settings, an unconnected display appears.
(7) The screen display blinks, or in some cases the contents of the screen are displayed again after blacking out.
(8) A blue screen appears.
(9) The equipment is unable to connect to the network.
(10) The network connection is unstable, or the connection speed is slow.
(11) A disc (CD or DVD) cannot be recognized or cannot be read or written to.
(12) Writing to a disc (CD or DVD) fails.
(13) A disc (CD or DVD) cannot be ejected.
(14) Keyboard input is not accepted.
(15) Mouse input is not accepted, or the cursor or a button does not work normally.
(16) A USB device (other than a keyboard or a mouse) cannot be recognized or does not operate properly.
(17) No sound is generated, or the sound is extremely faint.
(18) A serial port does not operate properly.
(19) The RAS external contact port does not operate properly.
(20) The equipment cannot be shutdown.
