3. Remove the circlip, and remove the dwell
plate and cam plate. Then, shift the throttle
arm assembly position slightly backward.
4. Remove the two screws and remove the throt-
tle lever assembly. Then, change the throttle
lever assembly position by turning it clock-
wise and secure it with the two screws.
Tightening Torque:
5~8Nm (0.5~0.8m-kg, 3.6~5.8 ft-lb)

5. Turn the dwell plate 180° so the cam groove
is on the PULL side, and align the throttle
lever roller with the specified position, then
secure the throttle arm assembly and dowel
plate with the circlip.

NOTE: Make sure the circlip is correctly fitted in
place.
6. Secure the dwell plate retainer with the four
screws.
7. Install the mounting flange, back plate and
packing with the five screws.

NOTE: When installing the back plate, use care
so the wire harness is not pinched.
