Setting up from the printer control panel
Publish Direct Connection
The Direct connection allows users to print (or download) jobs to the imagePRESS Server without spooling the jobs.
Jobs sent to the Direct connection are not saved in the Printed queue. If you plan to download fonts to the
imagePRESS Server, you must publish the Direct connection.
Publish Print Queue
Jobs that are printed (or downloaded) to the Print queue are spooled to the imagePRESS Server hard disk and
printed on a first-in, first-out basis.
Publish Hold Queue
Jobs that are printed (or downloaded) to the Hold queue can be printed only by copying or moving the jobs to the
Print queue (for example, with Command WorkStation).
Allow printing from
When set to All users authentication is not required and anyone can send jobs to the imagePRESS Server. Even if you
assign passwords to users and assign users to groups, authentication is not required.

USB

Enable USB Port
Select to enable the imagePRESS Server.
USB Media Auto Print
Choose whether to enable automatic printing of jobs from a USB device. Jobs are printed as soon as the USB device
is connected to the imagePRESS Server.

Print Form Setup

Copies
Specify the default number of copies of a document to print.
