Accessing the configuration settings
After you start the imagePRESS Server for the first time, or install system software, you must set up the imagePRESS
Server. If you do not specify custom settings, default settings are used. Make sure that settings are appropriate for
your printing environment. If your network or printing environment changes, you may need to adjust your settings.
Note: We recommend that you perform initial setup with the Fiery Setup Wizard and then review the imagePRESS
Server configuration to make sure the settings are optimized for your network and print environment.
You can set up the imagePRESS Server from the printer control panel or from a client computer using Configure.
Configure is available from the following locations:

WebTools (with a supported Internet browser)
•
Command WorkStation
When to review the configuration settings
We recommend reviewing the imagePRESS Server settings in the following situations:
•
After initial setup with the Fiery Setup Wizard
•
If the imagePRESS Server system software is installed or re-installed
•
If the network or print environment changes
Viewing and modifying the configuration settings
You can view and modify the imagePRESS Server configuration settings through the following methods:

The Fiery Setup Wizard, if the wizard is not yet completed:
The Fiery Setup Wizard allows you to select a print environment, which automatically applies a preconfigured
set of configuration settings that are typically optimal for that environment.

The imagePRESS Server Setup feature on the printer control panel:
The Setup feature provides access to a partial set of the configuration settings.
