Position control under vector control and PM sensorless vector control
Operation outline
If the Pre-excitation/servo ON (LX) signal is turned ON, output shutoff is canceled and the Position
control preparation ready (RDY) signal is turned ON after 0.1 s. When STF (forward stroke end signal)
or STR (reverse stroke end signal) is turned ON, the motor rotates according to the command pulse.
When the forward (reverse) stroke end signal is turned OFF, the motor does not rotate in the corre-
sponding direction.
Operation ready completion (RDY)
Fig. 5-69:
Selecting the pulse train type (Pr. 428 and NP signal)
● Set Pr. 419 "Position command source selection" = "2" (simple pulse train position command).
● Set "68" in any of Pr. 178 to Pr. 189 (selection of the input terminal function) to assign Simple
position pulse train sign (NP).
● Select the command pulse train with Pr. 428 "Command pulse selection".

● Select vector control or PM sensorless vector control to select the position control method.
NOTE
If Pr. 419 = "2" (simple pulse train position command) is set, the terminal JOG is used for the simple
position pulse train input regardless of the Pr. 291 "Pulse train I/O selection" pulse train input/out-
put selection setting.
