Connection of stand-alone option units
Remove the screws in terminals PR
and PX and remove the jumper.
FR-A820-00630(11K),

Connect the brake resistor across
terminals P/+ and PR.

NOTES
For FR-A820-00490(7.5K) or lower and FR-A840-00250(7.5K) or lower, the jumper across terminals
PR and PX must be disconnected before connecting the dedicated brake resistor. Not doing so
may damage the inverter.
A brake resistor cannot be used with options such as brake units, high power factor converters,
and power regeneration converters.
