2.1 Product description
2.1.1 Appearance
The Trip Unit includes a graphical LCD. The front
panel being similar to that depicted in Figure
2.1. Normally the device is set to the English
language, optionally French, German, Spanish or
Chinese can be selected.
On trip Units having firmware version 8.00.26 or
higher it is also possible to upload one more
additional language.
Any language can be added as long as an
appropriately formatted "Language pack " data file
can be made available with the required "Setting"
Software.
2.1.2 LCD ACCESS
The trip unit has five function keys as shown in
Figure 2.2. Any key, when pressed, powers up
the LCD.
All SETUP, STATUS, METER and EVENTS
information is accessed through these five keys.
-- UP: Scroll up or increment value
-- DOWN: Scroll down or decrement value
-- RIGHT: Next function or next page
-- LEFT: Previous function or previous page
-- ENTER: Save or set in to memory
2.1.3 Electrical Requirements
None: Plug in installation. Done on de-energized
units.
2.1.4 Equipment Interfaces
ME10 Circuit Breakers.
Trip units, for the most part, do not require direct
connections to the equipment. All wiring is
intended to connect to the circuit breaker or
cassette.
Connections that are required for other
equipment are the optional zone-selective
interlock, relay input and output and the neutral
sensor, which uses specifically dedicated
connection points on the breaker secondary
connection terminals.

2.1 Produktbeschreibung
2.1.1 Aussehen
Die Auslöseeinheit besitzt ein grafisches LCD-
Display. Die Frontplatte sieht ähnlich der
nachfolgenden Abb. 2.1 aus. Normalerweise ist
das Gerät auf die englische Sprache eingestellt,
wahlweise kann Französisch, Deutsch, Spanisch

2.1.2 LCD-Beschreibung
Die Auslöseeinheit verfügt über fünf
Funktionstasten, wie in Abb. 2.2 dargestellt. Wird
eine beliebige Taste gedrückt, so geht die LCD-
Anzeige in Betrieb. Auf alle SETUP-, ZÄHLER-,
ZUSTAND und VORFALL-Informationen wird
über diese fünf Tasten zugegriffen.

2.1.3 Elektrische Anforderungen
Keine: Plug-in Installation. Durchführbar mit
ausgeschalteten Geräten.
2.1.4 Ausrüstungsschnittstellen
ME10 Leistungsschalter.
Auslöseeinheiten benötigen zum größten Teil
keine direkte Leiterverbindung zum Schalter. Alle
Leitungen sind Verbindungen mit dem
Leistungsschalter oder Einschubträger.
Verbindungen sind erforderlich für andere
Ausrüstungen, wie die optionale
Zonenselektivität (ZSI), Relais Ein- und Ausgabe
und dem Neutralwandler, die zu speziellen
Anschlüssen an den Hilfstrennblöcken geführt
werden.

2.1 Descrizione del prodotto
2.1.1 Aspetto
Il Relè di Protezione include un display LCD
grafico. Il pannello anteriore è simile a quello
illustrato in Figura 2.1. Normalmente, il
dispositivo è impostato in lingua inglese; è
possibile selezionare a scelta altre lingue.
Su sganciatori con versione firmware 8.00.26 o
superiore è anche possibile caricare una più
lingue aggiuntive.
Ogni lingua può essere aggiunta se
opportunamente formattata secondo il "Language
pack" file di dati tramite il software di
configurazione.
2.1.2 ACCESSO LCD
Il Relè di Protezione dispone di cinque tasti
funzione, come mostrato in Figura 2.2. Ogni
tasto, se premuto, accende il display LCD.
I cinque tasti permettono di accedere a tutte le
informazioni relative a CONFIG, STATO, MISURA
ed EVENTI.
-- SU: Scorrere verso l'alto o incrementare il
valore
-- GIÙ: Scorrere verso il basso o decrementare il
valore
-- DESTRA: Funzione successiva o pagina
successiva
-- SINISTRA: Funzione precedente o pagina
precedente
-- INVIO: Salvare o impostare in memoria
2.1.3 Requisiti elettrici
Nessuno: Installazione plug in. Effettuata su
unità non alimentate.
2.1.4 Interfacce apparato
Interruttori ME10.
I Relè di Protezione, nella maggior parte dei casi,
non richiedono collegamenti diretti
all'apparecchiatura. Tutto il cablaggio è
destinato a collegare l'interruttore o la parte
fissa.
Le connessioni necessarie per altre
apparecchiature sono l'interblocco opzionale di
selettività a zona, l'ingresso e l'uscita a relè e il
sensore di neutro che utilizza punti di
connessione appositamente assegnati sui
morsetti ausiliari dell'interruttore.
