4.1.4 TIME DELAY MODULE (TDM)

accessory installed in the circuit breaker.

-- The TDM is a separate accessory.
-- TDM and UVR voltage ratings must be equal.
-- The TDM supplies regulated control voltage to
the breaker UVR for a period between zero and 3
seconds in the event of an under voltage fault.
The voltage level supplied during the time delay
period is sufficient to maintain the breaker UVR
in the energized state.
-- At the expiration of the time delay period the
TDM applies 0% of rated voltage to the breaker
UVR accessory. The Breaker UVR responds to the
under voltage condition and trips the circuit
breaker.
-- A knob located on the device front allows the
user to adjust the time delay.
-- The scale is marked as Min. and Max. only.
-- The adjustment varies between 0 (min.) and
three (Max.) seconds.
The standard Undervoltage Release accessory
has a built in delay of 50 milliseconds for drops
in the line voltage of up to 50% of it's nominal
value.
The total NON REACTION time is that set on the
TDM module plus that of the standard UVR
release.

Leistungsschalter verwendet werden.
-- Das TDM ist ein getrenntes Zubehör.
-- Die TDM- und UVR-Auslöser Spannungswerte
müssen gleich sein.
-- Das TDM-Zubehör reguliert die
Steuerspannung zum UVR-Auslöser für einen
Zeitraum zwischen 0 und 3 Sekunden im Falle
einer Unterspannungsstörung. Die regulierte
Spannungshöhe während der zeitlichen
Verzögerungsperiode ist ausreichend, um den
UVR-Auslöser zu versorgen.
-- Bei Ablauf der zeitlichen Verzögerungsperiode
gibt das TDM 0 % der Nennspannung an den
Unterspannungsauslöser des Schalters. Der
UVR-Auslöser des Leistungsschalters reagiert
auf die Bedingung der Unterspannung und löste
den Leistungsschalter aus.
-- Das TDM-Zeitrelais ist über einen
Justageknopf einstellbar, der sich auf der
Gerätefront befindet.
-- Die Zeitverzögerungs-Skala ist nur mit min.
und max. Stellungen markiert.
-- Die Einstellbarkeit variiert zwischen 0 (min.)
und 3 (max.) Sekunden.
Der Standard Unterspannungsauslöser hat eine
eingebaute Verzögerung von 50 Millisekunden
für Unterbrechungen der Versorgungsspannung
bei bis 50% der Nennwerte.
Die totale NICHT Reaktionszeit ist die Einstellung
auf dem TDM-Modul, plus der Zeit auf dem
Standard UVR-Auslöser.

-- Alla scadenza del periodo di temporizzazione il
TDM applica all'accessorio UVR dell'interruttore
un livello pari allo 0% della tensione nominale.
L'UVR dell'interruttore risponde alla condizione di
sottotensione e provoca l'intervento
dell'interruttore.
-- Una manopola posta sulla parte anteriore del
dispositivo consente all'utente di regolare il
tempo di ritardo.
-- La scala è contrassegnata con le indicazioni di
minimo e massimo.
-- La regolazione varia tra 0 (minimo) e tre
(massimo) secondi.
L'accessorio UVR è dotato di un ritardo standard
di 50 millisecondi per le cadute della tensione di
rete fino al 50% del suo valore nominale.
Il tempo totale di NON REAZIONE è la somma tra
il valore impostata sul modulo TDM e il valore
standard dell'UVR.
