4.3.2 Release Indication Contact
To indicate if a Shunt or Undervoltage release
initiation has resulted in a breaker OFF or TRIP
operation, a NO contact can be fitted to the
releases. The contacts are available in two
versions, one power rated for use in standard
Circuits and a second signal rated type for use
with the Electronic Trip Unit communication
option.
The contacts are available as factory mounted
component or as field mountable device.
Installation of Release Indication Contacts
1. The breaker should be safely isolated and
fully withdrawn to disconnected position.
2. Remove the fascia as explained.
3. Dis-assemble the relevant Coil's and/or
Releases as indicated elsewhere in this section.
4. Remove the cover by depressing the 3 snap
fits as shown in Fig. B.
5. Align the new cover with the Release/Coil
indication as shown on Fig. C.
6. Guide the wires in the wire opening of the coil
housing as shown in Fig. D. Press the cover and
ensure the 3 snaps are engaged with the
openings in the coil housing.
7. Tilt the coil forward and engage the front
hooks into the mechanism top support plate as
shown in the Fig. E.
8. If the device is of the 'Signal Rated' type and
needs to be wired through the Trip Unit refer to
Fig. F. Connect the contacts to the relevant
connectors of the Trip Unit harness taking care
that they are connected to the correctly marked
wires ST1/UV1/CC/ST2/UV2.
9. Tilt the device backwards until the rear hooks
engage in the slots on the mechanism top
support plate as shown in the Fig. G.
10. Re-connect the Coils and/or Releases as
indicated in Fig. H.

4.3.2 Modul-Statusschalter
Um anzuzeigen, ob die entsprechenden A- oder
U-Auslösermodule den Schalter geschaltet oder
ausgelöst haben, kann ein Schließerkontakt in
die Module eingebaut werden. Den Modul-
Statusschalter gibt es in zwei Version, eine
Power und eine Kleinspannungsversion für die
Statusbestimmung über die Auslöseeinheiten
Kommunikation.
Die Modul-Statusschalter sind werkseitig- und
vorort-montierbar erhältlich.
Die Montage des Modul-Statusschalter
1. Der Leistungsschalter muss sicher getrennt,
d.h. vollständig aus dem Einschubträger in die
TRENN-Stellung gebracht sein.
2. Entfernen Sie die Leistungsschalter-
Frontabdeckung, s.u.
3. Entfernen Sie die entsprechenden Module aus
dem Modulsortiment.
4. Entfernen Sie dessen Modulabdeckung durch
drücken der drei Rasthaken, wie in Abb. B
gezeigt.
5. Richten Sie die neue Abdeckung mit dem
Release Indication Contacts

Modul-Statusschalter auf das Modul, wie in Abb.
C gezeigt aus.
6. Leiten Sie die Verdrahtung zur Öffnung des
Modulgehäuse wie in Abb. D gezeigt. Drücken
Sie die Abdeckung und die 3 Schnapphaken in
die Öffnungen des Modulgehäuses.
7. Kippen Sie die Modul nach vorn und stecken
Sie die vorderen Haken in die Modul-Trägerplatte
wie in der Abb. E gezeigt.
8. Die Kleinspannungsversion wird nach Abb. F
über die Auslöseeinheit verdrahtet. Schließen Sie
den Stecker aus dem Modul-Statusschalter mit
dem Stecker ST1/UV1/CC/ST2 &UV2 aus dem
Kabelbaum der Auslöseeinheit, wie in Abb. F
dargestellt zusammen.
9. Kippen Sie das Gerät rückwärts, bis die
hinteren Haken in die Schlitze der Trägerplatte
wie in der Abb. G eingreifen.
10. Schließen Sie die Module wieder wie in Abb.
H an.

4.3.2 Contatto di indicazione
protezione
È possibile montare sugli sganciatori un contatto
per indicare se una bobina di sgancio a lancio di
corrente o di minima tensione ha portato
l'interruttore in OFF o in TRIP. I contatti sono
disponibili in due versioni: una di potenza per
l'uso in circuiti standard, e una di segnale per
l'uso con l'opzione di comunicazione del Relè di
Protezione.I contatti sono disponibili come
componenti montati in fabbrica o come
dispositivo da montare in loco.
Installazione dei contatti di indicazione
protezione
1. L'interruttore deve essere isolato in modo
sicuro e completamente estratto in posizione
DISCONNECTED.
2. Togliere la copertura anteriore come indicato.
3. Se necessario, rimontare le bobine e/o gli
sganciatori, come indicato in questa sezione.
4. Rimuovere il coperchio premendo i 3 fermi a
pressione come mostrato in Fig. B.
5. Allineare la nuova copertura con l'indicazione
Sganciatore/Bobina, come mostrato in Fig. C.
6. Guidare i cablaggi nell'apertura dell'involucro
della bobina, come mostrato in Fig. D. Premere il
coperchio e verificare che i 3 fermi a pressione
siano innestati nelle aperture dell'alloggiamento
della bobina.
7. Inclinare la bobina in avanti e agganciare i
fermi anteriori nella piastra di supporto
superiore del meccanismo come mostrato in Fig.
B.
8. Se il dispositivo è di tipo 'di segnale' e deve
essere cablato tramite il Relè di Protezione, fare
riferimento alla Fig. F. Collegare i contatti ai
relativi connettori del Relè di Protezione avendo
cura che siano correttamente collegati ai fili
contrassegnati ST1/UV1/CC/ST2/UV2.
9. Inclinare il dispositivo all'indietro finché i ganci
posteriori si inseriscono nelle fessure della
piastra di supporto superiore del meccanismo,
come mostrato in Fig. G
10. Ricollegare le bobine e/o gli sganciatori
come indicato in Fig. H.
Removal of Front cover
1. Remove pad locks, installed if any.
2. Unscrew the 6 [Env. T = 4] screws (6Nm, 4.42ft-lbs) using a Pozidrive screw driver
as shown in Fig. A&B.
3. Rotate the charging handle down and slide the front
cover over the handle to remove out as shown in Fig. C.
Abbau der Frontabdeckung
1. Entfernen Sie installierte Vorhängeschlösser.
2. Lösen Sie die 6 [Baugr. T = 4] Schrauben (6Nm) mit einem Pozidrive-
Schraubenzieher wie in Abb. A&B dargestellt.
unten, während Sie die Abdeckung für den Abbau nach oben über den Hebel heben,
wie in Abb. C.
Rimozione della copertura anteriore
1. Se installati, rimuovere I lucchetti.
2. Svitare le 6 [Taglia T = 4] viti (6Nm, 4.42ft-lbs) utilizzando un cacciavite Pozidriv
come mostrato in Fig.A&B.
3. Abbassare la leva di carica manuale e far scorrere
la copertura anteriore sopra la maniglia per rimuoverla, come mostrato in Fig. C.
