Function
The General stream is currently the only available setting. You can select
different encoder frame rates for different recording events.
The system supports the Active Control Frame (ACF) function. This allows
you to record in different frame rates.
For example, you can use a high frame rate to record important events, use
a lower frame rate to record scheduled events, and set a different frame rate
for recording motion detection events.
Select from three options for Encode Mode:
H.264 High Profile: High performance profile encoding mode.
H.264 Main Profile: Main profile encoding mode.
MJPEG: Legacy profile encoding mode with high bandwidth.
You can select from multiple resolutions in the drop-down list. The
recommended bit stream value is different for each resolution.
PAL: 1~25 fps; NTSC: 1~30 fps. (Max 12 fps for 5M resolution.)
Select either VBR (variable bit rate) or CBR (constant bit rate).
Note
You can set the video quality in VBR mode. The value ranges from 1
to 6.
