6.4.3. Altitude Select Mode

Sync the altimeter before performing
altitude select (see section 6.1)
The altitude select mode allows the user to select a target
altitude above or below the current altitude, as well as a vertical
speed to transition to that altitude. This mode is accessed by toggling
the joystick to the right one time.
With autopilot engaged, toggle the joystick to the right one time,
rotate the knob to select the target altitude, press the knob to save
the target altitude and advance to the vertical speed select, rotate the
knob to select the desired vertical speed, press the knob to begin the
transition. The sequence for entering altitude select is shown in
Figure 6.4.3a
