8. While wearing a grounded ESD wrist strap, grasp the Magma PCIe host card at the corners and
gently insert it in slot 3.
9. Align the Magma PCIe host card edge with the card edge guide.
10. Replace the card retainers (blue plastic notch) to lock the inserted Magma PCIe host card in
position.
11. Connect the Magma host cable to the Magma PCIe host card inserted in slot 3.
12. Replace the side cover and the front bezel.

Verifying correct BIOS settings

All Honeywell systems must have the Honeywell recommended BIOS version. Honeywell configures
specific BIOS settings in the factory for each of the server platform configurations, and these settings
must not be altered. The following table provides the default BIOS settings for the server.
