Disconnect the 5-P connector
from the steering angle sensor.
Check for continuity between the
No. 5 terminal and body ground.

Check for resistance between the
No. 1 and No. 5 terminals
Repair open or short circuit in the
wire between the No. 1
terminal and TCS control unit.
Repair open in the LT GRNleLK
wire between the No. 5 terminal
and TCS control unit.
NOTE: Use the digital mul-

timeter. Resistance is approx-
imately 40 kD.
l Substitute a known-good con-
trol unit and recheck.
l Check for poor connections or
poor wires.
