MASTER CYLINDER

When removmg the
JOint nut. cover the
ends of the brake
pipeS
to prevent
brake flUid leakage
Drain the brake fluid (page 1S-6).
Remove the cotter pin and joint pin to disconnect
the push rod.
Loosen the joint nuts to disconnect the brake pipes.
Remove the two mounting nuts, bolts and master
cylinder from the frame.
Remove the following:
- bolt
- reservoir
- oil seals
- boot (from the master cylinder body)
- push rod (from the boot)
