IGNITION TIMING

Remove the mudguard (page 3-12).
Start the engine and warm it up to operating
temperature.
Stop the engine and remove the timing hole cap
from the rear crankcase cover.
Connect the timing light and tachometer.
Start the engine, let it idle and check the ignition
timing.
The ignition timing is correct if the "F" mark on the

flywheel is visible from the timing hole in the rear TIMING HOLE
crankcase cover at idle.
Increase the engine speed and make sure the "F"
mark begins to move.

Coat a new O-ring with oil and install it onto the
liiiiiji3~~~~~~~~iii.

Install the timing hole cap and tighten it.
TORQUE: 10 N'm (1.0 kgf-m , 7Ibf.ft)
Install the mudguard (page 3- 12).
