Engine Assembly
R e a r E n g i n e M o u n t R e p l a c e m e n t
1. Turn the IMA battery m o d u l e switch OFF (see page
12-4).
2. Relieve fuel pressure (see page 11-354).
3. Loosen the drain plug in the radiator, and drain the
engine coolant (see page 10-6).
4. Remove the air cleaner housing assembly
(see page 11-382).
5. Remove the IMA power cable clamps (see step 12
on page 5-3).
6. Remove the auxiliary under-hood fuse/relay box B
and the harness holder f r o m the bracket, and
disconnect the engine w i r e harness connector (see
step 14 on page 5-3).
7. Remove the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister
hose, then r e m o v e the purge joint f r o m the bracket
(see step 17 on page 5-4).
8. Remove the quick-connect fitting cover (A), then
disconnect the fuel feed hose (see page 11-361).

9. Disconnect the IMA power cable (see page 12-3).
10. Remove the heater hose c l a m p and the heater
hoses (see step 45 on page 5-7).
11. Support the engine w i t h a jack and w o o d block
under the oil pan.
12. Disconnect the rear active control engine m o u n t
actuator connector (A).
13. Remove the front m o u n t stop (B), then remove the
rear m o u n t bolt (C).
14. Remove the rear m o u n t (D).
15. Install in the reverse order of removal.
16. Refill the radiator w i t h engine coolant, and bleed
air f r o m the cooling system w i t h the heater valve
open (see step 8 on page 10-7).
17. Inspect for fuel leaks. Turn the ignition switch
ON (II) (do not operate the s t a r t e r ) so the fuel p u m p
runs for about 2 seconds and pressurizes the fuel
line. Repeat this operation t w o or three times, then
check for fuel leakage at any point in the fuel line.
