7. TROUBLESHOOTING IMAGE FAULTS/MALFUNCTIONS

VIII. SELF DIAGNOSIS

The CPU on the CLC1000's image processor
and DC controller PCB is equipped with a mecha-
nism to check the condition of the machine (sen-
sors, in particular). The mechanism runs a check
as necessary and indicates the presence of an er-
ror upon detection.

DC controller PCB has detected an
overheating condition (220°C or more).

The thermistor has detected 210°C or
more.

When control is to 160°C or less, a rise
in temperature of 10°C or more does
not occur within 4 min.
xx40
The temperature drops to 140°C or
less during temperature control for
standby.
xx50
The temp erature drops to 140°C or
less during temperature control for
printing.
