Binary outputs

The precision binary outputs are used for time-synchronized energization of the circuit breaker Close
and Trip coils. These outputs are normally open.
Each connector terminal is connected with one one 0.5...2.5 mm² (AWG 20...13) wire or with two
0.5...1.0 mm² (AWG 20...17) wires.

Outputs for controlling and signaling

Signal output contacts are used for signalling alarms and warning conditions. See
on each output signal.
Outputs designated "PO" are power output contacts designed for controlling switchgear. Three of the
power outputs on the power supply module (PSM) feature additional circuitry for trip circuit
supervision.
Connectors are delivered with the device. Each connector terminal is connected with one 0.5...2.5
mm² (AWG 20...13) wire or with two 0.5...1.0 mm² (AWG 20...17) wires.

The connected DC voltage to outputs with trip circuit supervision (TCS) must have
correct polarity or the trip circuit supervision TCSSCBR function will not operate
properly.
