The function is in CB test mode (CBTSMODE=1; refer section
instructed to immediately open all three poles.
The function indicates an emergency trip on its output EMERTRIP under any of the above conditions.
This output remains active for one task time.

Generation of alarms

SSCPOW provides flexibility to raise alarms under certain pre-defined conditions. The generation of
these alarms is mostly based on enabling a few settings.
The function raises alarms under these conditions.
1.
Loss of reference signal
2.
Last CB operation was uncontrolled, that is, without point-on-wave control
3.
Maximum controller delay exceeded
4.
Loss of compensation input signal
These conditions are explained below.
Loss of reference signal
This alarm is raised when the reference signal is missing and the RefSignalLossAlm setting is
enabled. See
healthy, the function has no reference for controlled closing. Similarly, if the breaker is detected
closed and, based on the OpenRef setting, if either the source voltage or the load current is found
not healthy, the function has no reference for controlled opening operation. For as long as this
condition persists, the function raises a REFSIGLOS alarm as shown in
Table 52:

Uncontrolled switching
When UncontSwitchAlm is set to "Enable", this alarm is raised to indicate CB switching operation
without point-on-wave control: It is permanently active when ByPassMode is set to anything other
than "No bypass". It is temporarily activated when the last operation was performed uncontrolled due
to a Bypass in contingency condition. The alarm is provided as an output UNCONTSWT from the
function as shown in
Table 53:

Maximum controller delay exceeded
Controller delay is the time difference between the detection of an incoming switching command and
the activation of the last command output. This value is provided on the CNTRLDEL output. If the
delay exceeds the MaxContDelay threshold, the TIMEEXED output is activated. This alarm is
generated only when ContDelayExdAlm setting is enabled as shown in

This signal gets activated as soon as an input command
is received by the function and remains active for 2
