Arcing time and electrical interruption time (CB opening)
ACBMSCBR provides two sets of values each for arcing time and electrical interruption time during
any trip operation, namely the predicted and actual values of the operation. The predicted values are
published as soon as the trip command is received on the OPCMDINP input, and the actual values
are published as soon as the interruption instant is detected. The predicted values are given at the
outputs PARCTMLX, PELORTLX and PELORTOLX. The actual values are given at the outputs
AARCTMLX, AELORTMLX and AELORTOLX.
Knowledge of the following design characteristics of the circuit breaker is essential for monitoring.
These characteristics are provided to the function through the following settings.
