Method 1
No software is provided with the touch panel. To download the software, ensure that the touch
panel is correctly connected to the wireless router, launch the local web browser on the touch
panel, and enter telepresence host's IP address/hid.apk in the address box. The telepresence
host's IP address is 172.16.21.10 by default. In the displayed dialog box, choose to save the
HID.apk file, and then install it on the touch panel as follows:
Step 1 Log in to the telepresence host as the superadmin user (default password: Change_Me), choose
System Settings > Common Settings, and set HTTPS settings to Disable, as shown in

Step 2 Launch the local web browser on the touch panel, and enter telepresence host's IP address/
application file name in the address box. For example, 172.16.21.10/hid.apk. Then, tap Go on
the onscreen keyboard or the

Telepresence applications on the touch panel are deleted by mistake, and the touch panel
fails to connect to the telepresence host.
The touch panel is restored to its default settings and fails to connect to the telepresence
host for upgrade without telepresence applications.
The touch panel dedicated to the Huawei telepresence application (Huawei MediaPad)
needs to be upgraded. The use and upgrade of Huawei MediaPad are available only in C06.
NOTE
The software installation applies to Huawei S7, S7 Slim, and 10-inch Asus touch panels. If a Huawei S7
touch panel is used and you cannot download HID.apk using the browser provided with the touch panel,
use either of the following methods:
l Use the upgrade tool to upgrade the HID application. For details, see the HUAWEI
TP3106&TP3118s&TP3118 System Upgrade Guide 01.
l Download a Huawei Browser, and download the HID application again.
