If video remains unclear after you manually set the focus value, set the aperture. In most cases, set the
aperture to 10.
– Set the exposure mode to automatic exposure, and record the aperture (Iris VAL) and
brightness gain (Gain VAL) settings.
– Change the exposure mode to manual exposure, and set the aperture (Iris VAL) and the
brightness gain (Gain VAL) based on the previously recorded settings in automatic
exposure mode.

Changing the exposure mode to manual exposure alters the settings of the aperture and the
brightness gain. Therefore, reset the aperture and the gain based on the values recorded in
automatic exposure mode.

camport:5.
l To set the brightness gain (Gain VAL) to 2, run camera setc500CameraParam
lightgain:2 camport:5. See the following figure.
