8.2 Component Replacement

8.2.1 Replacing an iBOX

Prerequisites
Context
If an iBOX becomes faulty during system running, replace it promptly.
Procedure
Step 1 Clear the network parameters for all the iBATs managed by the iBOX to be replaced.
Issue 07 (2019-12-30)
The iBOX needs to be replaced.
A spare iBOX of the same model is available and functional.

Expected Result
securely connected.
No iBAT cable
deteriorates and the
insulation layer does not
crack.
The iBOX is attached
firmly.
The cable to the POE
port is connected
securely.
If a cable connects to the
COM port, check that the
cable connection is
secure.
If a cable connects to the
BCB port, check that the
cable connection is
secure.
The cable to the HALL
current monitoring port
is connected securely.
8 Maintenance
Troubleshooting
connected.
Replace the faulty cable.
Secure the iBOX again.
Reconnect the cable to
the POE port.
Reconnect the cable to
the COM port.
Reconnect the cable to
the BCB port.
Reconnect the cable to
the HALL current
monitoring port.
