Chapter 4: Installation
• Lower bracket — Hold the following bracket so that the screw holes are aligned with the available
screw openings on the Analyzer, and secure with the provided screws. (Depending which openings
were used to install the multi-stream valve bracket to the inside of the Analyzer, the available
openings may vary between (A) and (A) or (B) and (B).

Locate a Wastewater Sampler pipe assembly and a large-size barbed fitting for each of the streams
you are installing.

For this Velocity method, install a large-size barb into the open end of the sample inlet pipe [the pipe
with the internal sipper tube (needle)].

Leave the pre-installed barb inside the other pipe (the pipe without the internal sipper tube). Also,

leave the plug at the top of the sample inlet pipe intact.
4.
Insert a Wastewater Sampler pipe assembly into the two bracket clamps located on the outside of the
Analyzer. For velocity method, ensure that the pipe (with internal sipper tube) is installed nearest to the
instrument. Also, ensure that the sample inlet pipe is installed farthest from the instrument.
