Modifying a Configuration File

Method One
Rev 1.02
To optimize your HTRD400 System performance, you may from time to time want to
replace the current HTRD400 Recorder configuration. The subsections that follow
describe the following tasks:
Reviewing the recorder date and time settings
Modifying recorder settings
Modifying trigger inputs
Modifying camera settings
Reviewing GPS configuration
Modifying record rule settings
Adding, editing, or removing user accounts
Erasing the recorder hard drive
Upgrading the firmware on the recorder and camera(s)
When you connect to the recorder, a summary of the configuration settings displays on
the Configuration tab.

There are three ways to modify an existing configuration file:
Using the HTRD400 System Setup Wizard
Modifying individual components from the Task Overview tab or from the Configure
menu
Modifying individual components from the Configuration tab
Use the HTRD400 System Setup Wizard

On the Task Overview tab, click Start Wizard .... The HTRD400 System Setup
Wizard starts.
