shared-keymode

To configure the shared key mode, use the shared-keymode command. To specify the unique key mode,
use the no form of the command.
Syntax Description
This command has no arguments or keywords.
Defaults
None.

Usage Guidelines
The shared-keymode command generates a single key that is used for a group of backup tapes.
The no shared-keymode generates unique or specific keys for each tape cartridge.
The shared unique key mode should be specified if you want to enable the key-ontape feature.

The following example specifies the shared key mode:
switch# config t
switch(config)# sme cluster c1
switch(config-sme-cl)# shared-keymode
The following example specifies the shared unique keymode:
switch# config t
switch(config)# sme cluster c1
switch(config-sme-cl)# no shared-keymode
