Broken Bluetooth Connection

Sometimes a Bluetooth connection can be disconnected. This can occur if there is too much
interference, or if the smartphone running the monitoring app is turned off or goes out of
Bluetooth range. When this happens, the Mobile Connection icon is not shown on the BW
RigRat display.
Check for interference (too many Bluetooth communications nearby, too much distance
between the BW RigRat and the smartphone). You may need to turn off the BW RigRat and exit
the app, and then restart both and re-pair.
Note: The Bluetooth connection between a smartphone and a BW RigRat is best within a
distance of 5 meters. The BW RigRat's Bluetooth will automatically shut down in 15 minutes if
no operation is performed. It is necessary to push the button to wake the BW RigRat Bluetooth,
which will then be detected by a smartphone.
