User-Specified Aimer Delay

If you want to set your own length for the duration of the delay, scan the bar code
below, then set the time-out (from 0 - 4,000 ms) by scanning digits, then the Save
bar code from the

Aimer Mode

This feature allows you to turn the aimer on and off. When the Interlaced bar code
is scanned, the aimer is interlaced with the illumination LEDs. Default = Interlaced

Centering

Use Centering to narrow the 8680i's field of view to make sure that it reads only
those bar codes you intend to read. For instance, if multiple codes are placed
closely together, centering insures that only the desired codes are read. (Centering
can be used in conjunction with
ation in applications where multiple codes are spaced closely together. Using the
Aimer Delay and Centering features, the 8680i can emulate the operation of older
systems, such as linear laser bar code scanners.)
