2. Set the AWG2021 controls and select the waveform file:
a. Initialize AWG2021 controls: Push UTILITY!Misc!Config...!Re-
set to Factory!O.K.
b. Modify AWG2021 default settings:
H Push MODE!Autostep.
c. Select waveform file:
H Select Select Autostep File from the side menu to choose a
waveform file for CH1.
H Turn the general purpose knob to highlight the OPE.AST file.
H Push ENTER.
3. Turn on the AWG2021 CH1 output: If the LED above the CH1 output
connector is not on, push the CH1 button.
4. Enable the function generator output: Turn on the function generator output.
5. Check external AM operation:
H Check that the step number displayed on the AWG2021 MODE menu is
Step 1 (see Figure 4–11). If it is not, push MANUAL TRIGGER to step
though the sequence file steps until Step: 1 is displayed.
