6.16 Position Adjustment (Matching)

6.16.1 Setting Procedure

The procedures for detecting and setting objects are the same as those used for "Smart Matching". (See page
113). In this section, the differences are described.
Items you cannot set
The Position Adjustment (matching) function does not set the following features.
Subtraction setting (Subtraction can not be performed.)

Rotation Accuracy
When there are multiple objects fulfilling the conditions
Be sure to sort the objects. After doing this, the first sorted object is detected. Sorting can be performed in the
descending/ascending order of area, x coordinate and y coordinate. If you do not sort the objects, the PV310
cannot detect the object which comes first, resulting in an unstable inspection. Refer to page 117 for sorting
function.
Running a Test
Before saving a base position, you can perform a test to check whether or not objects were detected. When a live
image is currently displayed, import a new image first and begin the test. When a memory image is displayed, run
a test using the current memory image without capturing any images.
