Connecting an EXTERNAL CONSOLE and OTHER STUDIO directly to DIMMER CABINET
* Performing this operation disconnects the CONSOLE and HCU and thus light control form the
CONSOLE becomes impossible.
Do not perform the following operation except when light control form the CONSOLE became
impossible.
When dimming control needs to be performed directly from an EXTERNAL CONSOLE because the
MAIN CONSOLE became inoperable due to problems or for other reasons, connect the EXTERNAL
CONSOLE using the following procedure:
Disconnect the cable connecting 1 of –HCU- and 1 of –CPU- on the DMX FROM of the CPU
CABINET.
When connecting directly from an EXTERNAL CONSOLE, connect the DMX OUT cable of the
EXTERNAL CONSOLE to the 1 connector of –HCU- on the DMX TO of the CPU CABINET.
When connecting directly from OTHER STUDIO, connect FROM of –OTHER STUDIO- on the DMX
FROM and the 1 connector of –HCU- on the DMX TO of the CPU CABINET.
