7-Segment Display:
Displays data for monitoring and

Increment/Up key:
- Increases parameter
number and value.
- Shifts between the
parameter groups.
Run key:
Runs the motor from
the operator
command mode.
Stop key:
Stops the motor.
Reset key:
Resets the fault.
Decrement /Down key:
- Decreases parameter number and value.
- Shifts between the parameter groups.
Shift keys:
Selects the digits which
need modification.
* Using the digital volume, a displayed data or parameter number can be changed
in different rate.

FWD LED:
Lit when the
motor is running
forward.(CW)
REV LED:
Lit when the
motor is running
backward .(CCW)
Digital volume*:
- Frequency setting
mode (changes
frequency command)
- Parameter setting
mode
CW : increment
CCW : decrement
- Shifts between the
parameter groups.
Data key:
Displays the description
of parameter.
Set key:
- Set the parameter to the
displayed value.
- After changing the parameter,
displays the parameter number.

4.1 Usage of digital operator
• Digital operator can be used for:
- basic command (RUN, STOP, Error reset, etc.),
- monitoring the operational status and errors of the inverter,
- programming the parameters.
• In Figure 4.1, the monitoring functions of digital operator in its default
status are presented. As described, the UP/DOWN key can be used to
navigate between monitor parameters. Note that, unless you monitor
U0.01, digital volume has the same function with UP/DOWN key.
• In Figure 4.2, the example of test run using digital operator is shown.
In this example, at first, the motor is run and stopped with the
frequency command 60Hz. And then, the acceleration time (F2.01) is
changed from 10sec to 3sec. Finally, the output voltage in U0.04 is
monitored.

• Do not disassemble the digital operator.
Otherwise, it may cause a personal injury.
• When using the digital operator away from the main body, use the
separated operator (E7IOTR-S).
