19.8 Common Functions for Scan
CH/GID Recall
CH/GID Recall is a function to migrate to the last called Zone-channel or GID by pressing the CH/GID Recall key during
the scan.
Note
• If pressing the CH/GID Recall key while no signal is received after initiating a scan, the transceiver migrates to the channel or GID
from which the transceiver initiated the scan.
• If CH/GID Recall is enabled, the transceiver does not resume scanning even if the length of time configured for Dropout Delay Time or
Dwell Time elapses.
• If CH/GID Recall is enabled, CH/GID Recall is disabled if the channel or GID is changed. The transceiver resumes scanning after the
Key Delay Time elapses (1 sec).
• If CH/GID Recall is enabled, the transceiver does not initiate Lookback.
• If CH/GID Recall is enabled, a Scan Stop Tone sounds from the transceiver at 30-sec intervals. The Scan Stop Tone does not sound
from the transceiver while the transceiver receives a call, unmutes the speaker and emits the received audio. Also, the tone does not
sound while the transceiver is transmitting. The tone sounds at 30-sec intervals after the transceiver completes transmission.
