Attach a new flange needle to the needle joint with your hand
temporarily.

Using a wrench (5/16 inch) to attach the flange needle while
holding the screw on the needle joint side with wrench (12 mm).

Check a setscrew. If it is loosening, tighten the setscrew while
holding the screw on the needle joint side with wrench (12 mm).

(10) After replacing the flange needle, click IDLE to set the needle
to its home position.
(11) After replacing the needle, click WASH for Needle Wash to
wash the needle (wash fluid1, 60 sec.)
NOTE:
After replacement of the flange needle, make sure liquid
is not leaking through the joint. It may causes malfunction
of the instrument.
