5.2.7 Wash Pump Check
(1)
Start the pump.
After the mobile phase has reached each flow path in the
pump and the injection valve of autosampler, turn on the
autosampler power supply.
If the injection valve is switched over when no liquid is in it,
the valve seal may be damaged. To prevent this, be sure to
start the pump earlier.
The autosampler will go through the initialization sequence,
and then the initial screen will appear.

Start maintenance software.
Click Wash button in "Washing pump purge" to flow wash
fluid1 (3 min).
(3)
Visually check that wash fluid flows normally while the wash
pump is purging.
Visually check that the waste solution runs from the rinse port
to the waste solution bottle.
NOTE:
Press the [OFF] or [IDLE] button on the wash pump
purging screen to stop liquid delivery by the wash pump.
