(13) Using the HEIGHT command, lower the needle by about 5 mm.
<When maintenance software is used>
(a)
Select the autosampler tab in maintenance software.
(b)
Press the [Function] button.
(c)
Input [Z = 5.0] in the [Move X-Y] section. And then press
the [Move] button.
<When GUI is used>
Use the HEIGHT command to move the needle.
(a)
Press Mainte.
(b)
Press Height.
(c)
Press Z [mm]: 5

Press Move.
(14) Check that the rinse port is located just below the tip of needle.
When it is not correct location, return to the procedure (11)
loosen the injection port to readjust the rinse port and fix it
temporarily.
(15) When the rinse port is located just below the needle, move the
needle once again (refer to the procedure (2)) and fix the
injection port, and attach the lid.
(16) After adjustment, press the IDLE button to set the needle to its
home position.
