Step 1.
Touch the static-protective package that contains the EDSFF cage to any unpainted surface on the
outside of the server. Then, take the EDSFF cage out of the package and place it on a static-
protective surface.
Step 2.
Slide the diagnostics panel assembly into the front chassis as shown. Ensure that it is seated in
place.

Step 3.
Remove the EDSFF drive cage cover.

Open the handle as shown.
b.
Grasp the handle and remove the drive cage cover.
