Pass The battery charge indicator shows at least one full block. Go to Step 3.
Fail The battery charge indicator does not show at least one full block.
1. Move the key switch to the O
2. Disconnect the battery. Refer to
3. Verify that the battery charger is turned off.
4. Connect the battery charger to the battery and charge the battery.
5. Disconnect the battery charger and reconnect the battery to the machine.
6. Repeat Step 2.
Step 3: Inspect the wiring for the motor.
1. Disconnect the battery. Refer to
2. Unplug harness connectors P20 and P21 from the motor cables.

3. Inspect the 2 motor cable connectors and the 2 harness connectors for damage, corrosion, debris, and
proper alignment of the pins inside the connectors.
Pass The wiring inspection passed.
1. Leave harness connectors P20 and P21 unplugged from the motor cable connectors.
2. Leave the battery disconnected.
3. Go to Step 4.
Fail The wiring inspection failed. Repair or replace the worn or damaged parts. Go to
Machine to Service (page 20)
