Fault 13 Internal Battery

Important:
While this fault is active, the battery management system (BMS) controller keeps the
battery contactor open, not allowing battery power to go to the machine. As a result, the machine will
not respond when the key switch is turned to the O

Fault Description
The battery management system (BMS) monitors voltage, current, and temperature conditions of the battery.
The battery CAN system supplies the fault message related to the fault.
Note:
One of the following battery-related operator advisories may have appeared on the InfoCenter before
this fault occurred. If it did, try the Recommended Service Action for that advisory code.

Conditions for Setting the Fault
The internal battery fault may be reported for communication, voltage, current, and temperature out of range
conditions.
Note:
The Samsung battery and controller are not serviceable. If determined to be faulty, they must be
replaced. Breaking the tamper-proof seal on a battery or controller case voids any existing warranty that it
may have.

Battery state-of-charge is too low
for continued operation. Machine
will shutdown in 30 seconds and
require battery charging for continued
operation.
