5 System Operation and Maintenance
Possible Causes
1. The signal cables of
the indoor and
outdoor units are
incorrectly
connected.
2. The signal cables of
the indoor and
outdoor units are
not shielded.
3. The connector of
the signal cable of
the indoor or
outdoor unit is
loose.
4. The outdoor unit
powers off.
5. The main control
board of the indoor
unit is faulty.
6. The main control
board of the
outdoor unit is
faulty.
7. The fan of the
outdoor unit is
faulty.
The communication
between the main
control board of the
outdoor unit and the
compressor drive board
is faulty.
EEPROM failure is
detected on the main
control board of the
outdoor unit.
Solution
1. Connect the signal
cables according to
the correct wire
sequence.
2. Use shielded signal
cables.
3. Check and
reconnect any loose
cable or connector.
4. Power on the
outdoor unit.
5. Replace the main
control board of the
indoor unit.
6. Replace the main
control board of the
outdoor unit.
7. Rectify the motor
fault and replace
the fan of the
outdoor unit.
1. Check whether the
power supply to the
compressor drive
board is normal.
2. Replace the
compressor drive
board if it is
damaged.
Replace the main
control board of the
outdoor unit.
