• Connect the overall shield and the individual shields of the encoder
cable to the separate shield grounding point
connect the cable directly to the encoder
The unshielded cable ends must be as short as possible. The shield
ends which are fixed to the ground clamp must be not longer than 50
mm.

A shield grounding point consists of a slotted mounting bracket

Depending on the layout of the swing frame, the shield grounding
points can be mounted at a different place than shown in
